One of the biggest accomplishments of Christ’s atonement on the cross was by creating a way in which God could forgive us for our rebellion against Him. As Christians, we are called and commanded to forgive and to forgive an unlimited number of times (Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13, Matthew 18:21-35, etc).
