Psalm 132. In this Psalm, David prays from the future Sanctuary Temple for God. David was unable to build it due to him having taken lives in battle before but he knew his son, Solomon would build it. Even though David could not be the primary provider of God’s dwelling place among the chosen people, he could be a primary source of prayer for it to be carried out.

Prayer should be a primary arrow in our quiver. We enter into a relationship with God and He with us. Even the Lord places a high view on prayer and calls for it often in His Word. We may not be the prime movers that get a job accomplished, but we can certainly have an affect by the power of God’s Spirit in prayer. How are you at prayer?
