Psalm 18. Just as with turning to God first when we face trials and tribulation; do you turn to God first after being delivered? It’s easy when it’s not pulling out from a green light only to see a car run the red light that would have smashed you. What about after troubles at work or with family. What about times after health scares or financial ones?
Do you have the same joy fro deliverance that David does to immediately proclaim God as Lord? Do you respond in truth what James says in 1:2-4, “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing”?
Let us greet God with joy and thanksgiving in all that takes place.
